Jamine Emmanual Felton, a New Orleans native, is a poet, essayist, artist and aspiring screenwriter who's also a contributing author of the (contesting carceral logic) book, in political science, criminal justice and social science, published with a premier academic publishing house (Routledge based in London UK). His contribution is for college students who will be reading the book in their sociology and criminology classes, edited by the prominent professor Mechthild Mecke Nagel, and Professor Michael J Coyle. Wherein he is published under the pen name: Emmanual X.
Jamine E Felton is also the author of other books that are in the process of being published under his two Pseudonym names, in order to distinguish himself in different categories, such as poetry, thriller, urban novels, horror, political, criminal justice, essays, self-help, etc, wherein he also contributed his artwork to the juvenile justice department for youth and to Louisiana invitation to visit the governor's mansion in 2006 for his acclaim art and contributions. His visit to the governor's mansion was a historical moment, where in he visited then Louisiana's 1st female governor was in office - Gov. Kathleen Blanco. The state's 54th governor. He currently resides in Louisiana.
